In the Taoist alchemical tradition, the formula known as Kan (Water) and Li (Fire) occurs in the solar plexus or the cauldron where the emotional energy latent in our essence (Jing) is the water within the cauldron and our awareness (Qi) is the Fire that cooks the emotional energy. The alchemical process results from the steam in which a third transcendent force arises. This third force is our Spirit (Shen) or the spark of Divine essence that connects us to the universal whole.

This inner alchemical process takes place through the special axis between the Heart, which is associated with the Fire Element and houses our Shen (Spirit) and the Kidneys, which resonate with the Water Element and store our Jing (Blueprint/DNA).

When the Shen is balanced, the Heart radiates virtue, peace, joy, warmth, vitality, discernment and propriety. When the emotional energy contained (as fear) within the Jing of our Kidneys is transformed, high-frequency encoding within our blueprint is safely activated.

This inner alchemical process restores the Heart-Kidney Axis, strengthens the Higher Spiritual Heart, unlocks high vibrational codes within our DNA to awaken awareness of our soul’s purpose, and ultimately anchors our individual Shen within the resonant field of the high-frequency energies of universal love and unity consciousness.
